Waiting. That is a big part of today. Wondering when Sandy might officially be here and what the most epic storm will look like. Usually, I think that stuff like this is blown way out of proportion. I do not feel that way this time. Already the wind gusts have been crazy and it has not stopped raining since overnight. Kara and I ran to the store earlier and witnessed much water in the road, the eerie feeling of running in the rain and wind and a pinecone shower. And so, we are doing what we can now while we still have electricity and taking guesses about when that will no longer be the case. Banana bread is just out of the oven, our essential electronics are charged and we are hoping we are prepared for whatever mother nature sends in our direction. Bridges are closed down, much of downtown Ocean City is under water, curfews have been given, the government is already closed tomorrow. It is like like ultimate snow day only there is no snow to go outside and play in. Oh to be on a trip somewhere spectacular right about now...
