We all woke up yesterday to snow covered, quiet streets - on St Patricks Day at that! I painted my nails green and spent the majority of the day in my pajamas. Thanks to the snow, Dan was home from work and so we watched movies and drank tea and enjoyed the extended weekend we were given. Later in the day, we bundled up and walked to the grocery store and then to NcDevins for a pint. One pint turned in to 3 or 4 as it often does and a few of Dan's co-workers met us out. I experienced my first Irish car bomb and we found another cute little neighborhood spot.
This past weekend was Daphne's baptism. She is so precious and stoic and sweet. Of course she was dressed to the nines and made the entire congregation oohhh and ahhh over her cuteness. I was able to get a few good photos and it was nice to be in church again after not having been the past few weeks.
We joined Costco. I am beyond excited about this. Of course, we chose to go the day before the snow where there were people everywhere and it was a madhouse but I suppose that is part of the fun. I am not sure what took me so long to take the plunge but its so fun and everything is so big and such a good deal - now we only need to find a place to store it all.... off to visit my Olney peeps.
