leaving on a jet plane

tomorrow at this time i will be on my way to the airport to take the red eye to jfk. it has been probably 6 or 7 years since i have been. when we all went in the snow storm and got to see saturday night live which was so cool. i can't wait to be on the east coast for a while. i should actually be packing but instead i went out for a few beers with xtin after work to watch the 49ers game and not pack and now well...what better time to blog!

i need to book my december flight back east - what do i think that flights are going to become less expensive? that certainly won't be the case. i just need to figure it out and do it. somehow this year is almost over and i am definitely ready to put 2009 behind us when the time comes and look ahead to 2010.

recently there has been a lot of talk everywhere about lay offs. maybe because i have already experienced this years ago and know how i have to keep things in perspective but i haven't been as wrapped up in it. it's always sad regardless to hear that people that work hard/were passionate about the company/have a family were let go.

i wonder what tomorrow will feel like. i know it's just another day but still...

okay, okay - no more procrastinating allowed. i need to figure out how to get all of these layers, boots and chargers in this large, heavy bag that i will be transporting for the next few weeks!
