Sometimes there are no words

Yesterday multiple bombs went off in Boston on the day of the marathon right near the finish line. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would do something like this to intentionally hurt others for no reason. It is a senseless act of violence that affects so many people in a multitude of ways. One of the victims was an eight year old child with his whole life ahead of him. What can you possibly say at a time like this to bring comfort to those that are grieving?  I am so saddened to hear innocent people dying because the wrong person gets their hands on a gun or the makings for deadly material and decides to make a point or that there is some political message that is being sent on a day where so many people's dreams are coming true, where families are gathered to celebrate and congratulate all of the hard word and dedication that the runners have put in.
I know we must look at the silver linings. We must step back and look at the acts of kindness that come out of something as horrific as this. We must unite as a country and take a stance on what we will and won't tolerate. We must not forget regardless of how much time goes by. We must continue to live our lives. We must focus on the good.
