really is everything. so much more than I had ever thought. i am not sure when i actually realized that but it was way too late for many things and made me sit back in awe of just how powerful it is and how different my life could be if it were not for timing...
enough about that, it's going to be an interesting week and i already cannot wait for it to start (um...hello...is it tuesday yet???could it be soon, please) i hate to wish any days away but i am so very much looking forward to tuesday evening that i can barely see straight.
this weekend was the kick off of kristen's 30th birthday celebration which started with a girls weekend in dewey beach. it sounded like they had a blast and i so wish that i could have been there with them for the sun, cocktails, grottos of it all!
i was in the mid-west this past week. spent a few days in detroit/birmingham, michigan for the amd summit and then was in illinois this weekend. chicago is a simply beautiful city that is so unique. the only other time i had been there was in 2005 for a quick baseball game with clients (when jma was living there during the week and we were givng the long distance thing a go). there was a very cool festival last night where rusted root played and that was so fun! i need much more live music in my life stat.
in two weeks we will be on our way down to the outer banks! i am very much looking forward to that - mom's new thing is that we need to rent an suv so that we can all drive down together.
i got to talk to ken on the phone tonight for quite a while - she is hilarious and precious and i love her so much it's crazy.
oregon is now on my list - people rave about this place and i need to check it out.
okay, it's closer to tuesday than when i started this post...!!!
